Charleswood Area 1 Off-Leash Area Overview
Charleswood Area 1 (designation CHW-001) is one of the larger off-leash sites in this part of the city, sitting near Nose Hill Park and directly adjacent to Brentwood's Area 1 site. It was formerly the Charleswood Golf Course before being converted to a multi-use park.
Because it's multi-use, expect company beyond just dog walkers — cross-country skiers use the site in winter, alongside the usual pathway traffic.
